With just over a week left before our move in date, I’m growing more and more antsy by the second. Finally being closer to M’s work is huge for us, no longer living into between two houses like we currently are, and being able to start decorating!
On Monday our painters started to revamp some (okay, most) of the house with the plan to be done by Friday. We managed to paint four rooms in a matter of five days while the painting crew finished three rooms in one. Let’s just say, paying for painting is worth every penny.
I decided to share a few more sneak peeks over the next week leading up to the move. This house, like our previous one, has formal living and dining room space. Right now they’re bare, no personality, and relatively outdated (hence that light fixture).
The office, which has a very unique built in desk, is where M does some work from home. He plans to try to utilize it a little more, though I still get creative freedom there.
In the kitchen there is an eat in space, or breakfast nook, whichever you call it. Again, very bare but I can’t wait to watch my little family eat there every morning.
And the last piece I am going to share today is the kids bathroom. They share a jack + jill bathroom which I totally love. I think it’s such a neat concept and still allows them both to use the bathroom simultaneously. I have a lot of fun ideas in store for this.
Keep following along on my ig to see sneak peeks here and there of the new colors, new fixtures, and little details we’re adding daily!
