new year, new organization

One of the things I struggle with most is staying organized. I’ve always wanted to be the kind of person that has a spot for everything (and knows where that spot is). With the help of Wayfair, I am getting on track to being that kind of woman.

I’m breaking some of the vital areas of a home that could use a solid organizational set up and sharing the tools I’d use to get it done!

Drawers

The insides of any and all drawers can be a magnet for disorganization because it’s too easy to toss things inside and shut it. Drawer organizers like these can keep your socks/undies/bras in their own place, keep toiletries from piling up, and ensure your makeup doesn’t get smashed together.

Shoes

No matter where you keep your shoes, it’s inevitable that they will end up creating chaos. We have multiple spaces in our home that house shoes and try our best to contain them. From hall trees to stackable shoes racks to back of the door hangers – you can keep your shoes up and out of the way of any walking space no matter what the situation.

Laundry

Every room in our home collects laundry. Whether it is towels from the bathrooms, bar rags from the kitchen, or our day to day clothing from our bedrooms. It’s so important to ensure that each space has it’s own designated laundry spot. This keeps all of your dirty items together without being strewn throughout the house.

Drying items

For me, one of the most inconvenient things to store are the pieces that need to hang to dry. There just doesn’t seem to be any comfortable space for that. With the ability to fold up behind the door, stand on its own when needed and fold away when not in use, or lean up against a wall in the corner. Wayfair offers racks are perfect for any lifestyle.

Misc.

There are bound to be a few spaces that you just don’t know how to store items conveniently. For us that is the garage, inside cabinets, and my car. Products like heavy duty plastic tubs are perfect for the big, clunky stuff you’re storing in your garage while the smaller plastic tubs can keep your not frequently used toiletries in the linen closet. Plus, if you’re like me there is always a ton of things on hand and what better way to store them than in a trunk tray.

Head to Wayfair to check out all of the items that I recommended and so many more! They are the perfect stop for your home organization needs!
