framing your mirrors with ease – MirrorMate review

As you know, we bought a beach house back in March and have been working to create the perfect space for our family. This has included some major changes, as well as some minor ones.

Bathroom vanity mirrors can often be one of the biggest eye sores in a home. Taking down the existing mirrors and finding the right size to replace them can be a hassle. I have always loved the look of framed vanity mirrors, but I’m not handy enough to build my own (plus have you seen the price of lumber these days?) so I turn to MirrorMate.

MirrorMate gives me the opportunity to customize and elevate the look of our build grade mirrors without the added hassle and big price point. With the simple measurements of your mirror and the space around it, selection of a style and color, and the click of a button you have the perfect frame.

There are tons of styles from rustic to venetian, nautical to farmhouse, and so many in between. They come in a variety of colors to compliment any color palette. I decided to add a frame to our master bathroom and Cam’s bathroom mirror.

For our master bathroom I wanted to go with a frame that gave me beach vibes, so I chose the Cherokee Montauk Sand Frame (shown here). The sand color looks exactly like the beautiful beach sand that I sink my toes into during each visit to this house.

For Cam’s bathroom I wanted to pick something a little bit bolder. The bathroom is a pale gray with nautical accents so adding the Ocean Deep Blue Sea Frame (shown here) was the obvious choice. It adds the perfect amount of nautical feeling without overpowering the bathroom.

If you’re looking to add a fun accent to your bathroom, the MirrorMate frames are the way to go.
