This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ooly. I take pride in hand selecting the brands that I work with and represent. All opinions expressed below are 100% mine.
My children have grown up creating – whether we were finger painting, scribbling a coloring sheet, cutting up construction paper, etc. I have always given them the freedom of creativity and using their imagination. I am not someone that has ever been afraid of messes or letting my kids go crazy. When they were little I found a way to incorporate their hand and foot prints into every card and gift I could.
With them being a bit older they are more independent with arts and crafts. If I’m in my office they tend to follow me and immediately want to make something. Rather than deal with them digging through my craft supplies, I put together their own arts and crafts cart to give them the ability to create anytime. I used a three tiered cart that we already had on hand from nursery storage days (can you say diaper caddy?) and ordered some storage containers to attach and give more storage options.
Now we’re able to store all of our favorite Ooly supplies. The various cups help keep colored pencils, markers, chalk pens, and crayons separate, the hooks hold all of their scissors, and the bar keeps washi tapes accessible.
Having various types of arts and crafts supplies ensures that kids have something to spark their interest every time that they create. That could mean reusable stickers, coloring books, watercolor painting, or something entirely made up. Below is a list of the Ooly products that I added into our cart which can all be found on their site:
