give the best gift at the baby shower!

This post is sponsored by the companies below. All reviews and opinions expressed in this post are based on my personal view.

At this stage in my life, baby showers have become the new bachelorette parties. Gone are the days of helping my friends celebrate their last nights of freedom. Instead, I’m helping them get prepared for their new baby (well.. as prepared as they can be).

Before becoming a mom I would look over registries, picking whatever gift I could turn into the most eye catching one. Making diaper bouquets, filling baby bathtubs with all the essentials, and crafting handmade wall art. But since becoming a mom myself, I realized what the important things are.

Sleep.

Even before that baby is born, you’re struggling to maintain a decent sleep cycle. That means it is even MORE important than ever to give them all the tools they need for a good nights sleep.

Enter the Dock A Tot. If you have a baby and an Instagram, you’ve certainly heard of this product before. EVERYONE has one, uses one, and swears by one. I’m no different.

Dock A Tot offers a safe and comfy spot for your baby to rest. Whether that is during the night, while getting a diaper change, or while participating in a little tummy time. There is a beautiful pattern to match any little ones personality. With two different sizes, Deluxe+ and Grand, it allows for continued use from birth to 36 months.

The Deluxe+ is helpful for co-sleeping situations. It is rounded and gives baby their own space in your bed. You must follow all safety rules and use it properly for it be to affective.

The Grand is ideal for helping your little one with crib-to-bed transitions. It is portable, which means you can take it anywhere and give your little a safe space to nap on any trip!

Give the expecting moms in your life a safe space to let their little ones sleep, so they can get some sleep!

Convenience.

The company, Binxy Baby, has designed a shopping cart hammock. It is durable enough to hold your entire car seat or just your little one. With straps that fit from one side to the other, buckles to ensure it is sturdy, and a tightening of the straps – you’re ready to shop! (see below for instructions)

The first time I ever went grocery shopping after my son was born, I bought less than five things. This wasn’t because I didn’t need anything else or because of any newborn baby meltdown.

The problem was that by the time I put my sons infant seat into the shopping cart, there was no room left. It became even more of a problem when I had my second baby. With her infant seat in the large part of the cart and my son sitting in the smaller seat, there was really nowhere for our groceries.

With multiple color options to choose from, there is so much fun to be had while you pick. We went with the ‘full bloom’ pattern that you see here.

Giving the gift of more convenient shopping is sure to be a gift that keeps on giving. After all, our sanity as mothers is very important.

What are your must haves for a new baby? I’d love to know!
