The first day of December in our house means that our Elf is back. Every year that we have done Elf on the Shelf, they welcome the new season with a North Pole breakfast. This year when they arrive they’ll also be bringing ‘kick off baskets’.
For most holidays I put together a fun little basket of goodies to help welcome the new season/holiday in their lives. This kick off basket is exactly that!

The containers were three dollars each from Target dollar spot, then I filled them up with some fun goodies.
Elf on the Shelf grab + go play pack
Make your own Christmas tree window clings
Pocket size coloring books
Elf on the Shelf multi-tip colored pen
Fuzzy socks
Unicorn/dinosaur Christmas pj’s
Elf on the Shelf bandaids
Bags of Christmas erasers (for a counting game)
Altogether I spent about $25 for each basket, partly because the pajamas were ten dollars each at Carter’s. You could easily create a similar basket full of Christmas themed goodies, crafts, candies, and other items for less.
If you decide to create a Christmas kick off basket like I did, be sure to tag me @queenofthebeehive on Instagram so I can check it out!
