We live in a very scary world.
Between the shootings, bombings, kidnappings, riots – I could go on. It almost makes you not want to leave the house AT ALL, let alone allow your children to go anywhere without you.
I am the mother of two young children, but one day we’re going to reach the age where they will stay after school for activities, go to friends houses, be able to stay home alone, etc. All of these things will be a little bit scary at first.
But what if I told you it didn’t have to be?
AngelSense is a child GPS tracker that includes a password protected app to download on your phone. The application shows you where your child is at any moment. If they leave this location, you will be notified.
The app allows you to name certain locations that your child will be in often so you can distinguish the different places. As well as allowing you to “phone in” to the device (it is silent on the device side) and listen in to your child’s surroundings.
You will be able to ensure a safer bus ride as well as receive an accurate estimated time of arrival for the bus allowing you to save wait time for both you and your child.
Included in the package is a zippered case, the tracking device (covered in a silicon casing inside a fabric bag), three magnetic pins to secure it to a book bag or inside a garment pocket, the key to unlock the pins, a charger, and an instruction manual.
The product was created with the special needs community in mind. Keeping all special needs children accounted for just in case something were to ever happen to them. But to me, it is something that ANY mother of ANY child could use if she wanted peace of mind.
For the beginnings steps of independence, you will allow your child to go off and do things they have never done before hoping that it works out but always worrying it won’t.
The first step is to fully charge the battery, then take out with you for the day to make sure it is properly noticing a change in location.
I took mine with me during a day of running errands – every time I stopped my vehicle for a period time, I received a text message letting me know that “Camden” (the tracking device) was in an unknown location.
The following day, we took our AngelSense GPS tracking device for a test drive. My almost three year old son Camden attends preschool and this seemed like a prime opportunity to try it out.
I used the magnetic pins to attach the device inside of Camden’s preschool back pack then off to school we went.
As soon as I left our driveway, I received a text letting me know that Camden had “left home”, again letting me know that Camden was “in transit”, and finally that he had “arrived at preschool”.
I check into the app periodically and it states that he is still at preschool, giving me a start time and the current time.
At around 12pm, I “phoned in” and listened to the preschool class for a few seconds to ensure that it worked the way it is supposed to.
Below is a screenshot of the text messages received through out the day. As well as an image of the application screen, allowing you to see just how user friendly it really is.
AngelSense is truly a gift for any parent that needs a little extra peace of mind in todays world. Head over to their website to find out more and read many great reviews.

This is so cool. You can never be to careful these days!
This is awesome! I have a 9 year old who rides the bus to school and this would make me feel so much better about it since she does not have a cell phone.
Great post!!
