Spring is an exciting time in our household. With my son’s birthday in March and my daughter’s in May – we are forever eating cake!

Every year I question what I should get for my kids. As they get older it becomes a little more difficult to find a happy medium between cost and effect. I love to get them exciting gifts but don’t want to break the bank every single year. Especially so quickly after Christmas.

Here this year I found some very fun new ideas that I am certain my children are going to love.

Hooray Heroes

I have previously shared about Hooray Heroes and their personalized books for kids. Cam + Lily have loved being able to see their own names inside their favorite books. Because Hooray Heroes now have a birthday edition, I just had to create some for my littles upcoming big days! The process is such an easy step by step, walking you through the creation of this extra special surprise.

Greater Skies

With Greater Skies you can create a custom map that will show what the stars in the sky looked like on a specific day at a specific time. For each of my kids I created a map for their birthday. It’s such a simple, but thoughtful gift that will never get old. As my kids get older and more interested in the stars, they will have a better understanding for it.

Woom

We’ve wanted to get our kids bikes for quite a while but weren’t sure when it would be the right time. This year we took the chance and decided it is going to be now! Woom is home of six lightweight and high quality bikes for kids of all ages – even as young as 1.5 years old. They personally helped us pick the right size for our kids to ensure the best (and safest) result. We’re so excited for many years of cul de sac bike rides to come!
