magical gift baskets for our Disney trip

The following post features various shops that I received product from in exchange for including them. I take pride in hand selecting the brands/shops that I work with and represent. All the opinions expressed below are 100% mine.

We’re headed to Walt Disney World! With Nana (my mom) and Mickey both turning 50 this year it only seemed fitting that they celebrate together. My mom has been a big Mickey Mouse fan for as long as I can remember. I honestly don’t know why, but it has always been a thing. She’s been to WDW probably more times than she can count. After we scheduled this trip, my aunt and uncle decided to come along so it’s a big event for our family!

The kids and I have been to Disney twice before but I’m most excited for this trip because the kids are going to be able to experience so much more than ever before. There will also be no more scheduling around nap time/leaving early due to missed naps.

To celebrate I decided to pull together a few fun things for the kids. It is a blessing to be in this line of work and have so many amazing shops to share with my kids (and you all). I will be sure to link the shops at the end of the post so you can check them out for yourself.

All of the things that I grabbed will either be packed to play with on the plane or in suitcases for the hotel + parks. I have separated the baskets into categories to help you find what you might be looking for. Let’s dive in, shall we?

Part of the experience is dressing for it! The first thing that I bought were these adorable Mickey and Minnie sweatshirts that I had come across and after that I knew I’d coordinate everything to them. Everything is linked below the photo.

There is no telling how many times the mask guidelines will change between now and then so I grabbed these gorgeous (and coordinating) masks from an amazing shop, Bibbidi Bobbidi Bedina. She has a big variety of princess, Marvel, villains, holiday, park theme, and so much more. There is also some gorgeous mask lanyards to pair together with your new masks.

Having a variety of things for the kids to do on the airplane/in the terminal is super important to me because I would like our travel time to be as smooth as possible. I stocked up on this part at my local Dollar Tree. I’m telling you don’t under estimate this store. It’s a Disney goldmine and everything is $1 each. Here is a list of what I grabbed from Dollar Tree for each kid, a total of $12 for hours of entertainment.

Mickey Mouse coloring books
Mickey + Minnie 10 pack jumbo crayons
Disney numbers + counting game cards
packs of stickers
water color paint art kit
resealable puzzles on the go

We have a few days scheduled to hangout at the resort and spend some time at the pool. I know there will be some downtime and wanted to have something on hand to fill it. For this I went straight to my girl Brittany at Colorama to help me out. She completely outdid herself with these Disney play dough on the go kits. If you’re interested in one, DM her and she can create a custom listing for you.

After I came across the Crofton Craftholic on Instagram I knew that I had to work with her. She creates the cutest custom shaped chalk and I was delighted to receive the Mickey and Minnie shapes. They are super durable and come in a variety of colors. In addition to crayons, paints, and chalks.. she makes custom temporary tattoos. She was kind enough to send a pack for the kids that say “if lost, please call” with my phone number. It is the sanity I didn’t even realize I needed. You can find her Etsy shop here and her IG account here.

I also snagged the cutest Minnie Mouse bow from Reno Bow Shop which you can shop here for tons of seasonal bows, clips, and other accessories.

A Disney loving mama that I follow on instagram shared these beautiful keychains before her last trip. I immediately reached out to Gorka & Co for the same ones! I’m going to pop them onto the kids little bags to wear proudly around the parks. She has a ton of fun things in her shop so be sure to check her out!

I know that we will be working to stay hydrated throughout the days so I decided to have a little fun and customize cups for them. The Starbucks to-go cold cups were the perfect size for little hands. I used my Cricut Explore 3 to add some Disney flare to each of the cups. You can read more about that in a few weeks.

A lot of the basket is filled with goodies to wear or keep them busy, but I wanted to also include a couple fun toys that I knew they’d really enjoy. Based on the kids interests right now I went with pop-its, Disney Hot Wheels cars, and a Melissa & Doug magnetic dress up set. I have linked them (or something similar) below.

Our adorable pennant flags are diy with a printable from Whimsically Wonderful on IG. I printed, hot glued them to a dowel, and added some ribbon. Be sure to check out the many fun seasonal printables that she offers.

We’re counting down until our Walt Disney World trip to celebrate the 50th Anniversary! I can’t wait to gift the kids these special baskets and all of the magic that Disney brings. Many of the things I have linked above could serve as really fun Christmas gifts. If you need help finding any of them, please let me know!
