For years we have talked about how amazing it would be to have a beach house one day. We pictured escaping on the weekends in the summer to spend our time with our toes in the sand. After a year of being quarantined, we decided to pull the trigger and look now. Three months later, we settled on our beach house and we’re so in love.
The house was sold to us furnished with 99% of the furniture shown in the listing photos, but I still had to make it our own. I created a vision board for each space and got to work. I have spent the last two months every chance I get to do exactly that. Now that much of the house is completed, I thought it was time to share – enjoy!
boy’s room
This is one of two double sized rooms. We knew that we were going to add an abundance of space to sleep for the kids and the friends they’ll one day want to invite along. I asked Cam beforehand what kind of theme he was thinking – pirate, surfer, shark, whale, etc. He chose surfer, but I did end up tying a little bit of it all together. Details are linked below. The sheets are no longer available as they were apart of the Pillowfort clearance.

girl’s room
I knew right away that I wanted to have a mermaid theme for Lily’s room. It, like the other, would be filled with space for all the beach slumber parties to come. The space is filled with corals, pinks, and teals. It was the easiest room to put together in the house. Details are linked below.

guest room
There are two rooms in the house that we’ve designated as guest rooms. They will be used anytime we may have family visiting along with us. I knew I wanted to go with a greenish color scheme, then I found this quilt and knew immediately that I wanted to design the room around that. Details are linked below. Quilt is unfortunately out of stock.

I’m so excited for the rest of the beach house to come together. I will continue to share as we finish up! If you have any questions about sources, styling tips, and more.. please don’t hesitate to ask!
