easter bunny baskets ’22

Can you believe it is already April? I truly feel like it was just ten minutes ago that we were ringing in the new year and now, BOOM we’re a quarter of the way through the year. With April comes Easter and all the bunny tasks. Shopping for them this year was just as much fun as usual. They are put together the kids baskets and cannot wait to share!

Growing up my mom had a similar style. She would get my siblings and I the same goodies in purple, pink, and blue and that is what I do for my littles, except I only have to select two colors (usually blue and pink). Instead of a standard Easter basket I grabbed two wire baskets from the new line Brightroom at Target.

The first thing that I grabbed for the kids are Lone Cone rain boots which has become a tradition over the past few years and is well-loved, then I stuffed bubble wands, tubes of candy, jumbo pencils, bunny straws, marshmallow peep lollipops, and bath paints inside. I stuck them into the center of the wire baskets and filled in the space around them. There are a few other things that I’m sure to add every year like water bottles, festive candy, activity books, window clings and more.

Below you will find the links to many of the goodies in our Easter baskets. The things that I was not able to link are from local dollar stores, grocery stores, Walmart and Target easter sections, etc.

The various festive candy, bubble wands, jumbo pencils, gel window clings, bathtub fingers paint, and bunny straws were all Walmart or Target easter section finds.I snagged these easter initial tags from Chalk Designs by me for the baskets which are truly the perfect finishing touch.
