easy school lunch tips

The time is coming when all of the parents in the world have to start the daunting task of packing lunches every day for the next many months. Sometimes kids only eat a select few meals and it can seem boring to pack the same thing day after day. I have gathered a couple essential things to help make lunch more fun!

When packing lunches for my kids I use bento type lunches boxes to allow a mixture of various things without having them mix together. This also saves me from using lots of different containers or plastic bags. I have linked my favorite lunch box brand and all of the accessories I use myself.

Food picks are super helpful with keeping little hands clean while eating finger foods. They also help keep sandwich roll-ups together inside lunch boxes. My kids, like a lot of kids, aren’t fans of bread crust. To help save time I use the sandwich cutter and sealers to create uncrustables at home. They come in cute shapes and keep the ingredients in. The silicone cups are great for breaking down compartments into smaller spaces when you have a large variety of food. It also keeps things from mingling and mixing together. We picked up these insulated jars for keeping warm foods warm on the days the kids take leftovers. These Bentgo boxes were the first boxes we ever bought and have stood the test of time. Easy to wash, easy to use, and super durable. Lastly I use the mini cutters to shape fruit, veggies, meats, cheeses, etc. to help create more fun in the day!

Cheers to a smooth transition back to school and lunch packing!
