While we were visiting Orlando, FL in Oct 2019 we spent a day in Legoland and ADORED it. As the kids have grown, the interest in Legos has also grown with them. The opening of Legoland New York Resort in 2021 gave us the opportunity to have so much Lego building fun once again!
We arrived to the resort in Goshen, NY on a Friday evening and were welcomed immediately by the chaos, excitement, and love for Legos. The lobby is home to the cutest Lego castle play space for the kids to run, play, build, and imagine. We stayed in one of the Ninjago theme rooms which was decorated with very intricately designed Lego creations. The rooms all come with a set of bunk beds to give the kids a space to call their own throughout the stay. It was perfectly designed for our family to spend the weekend. The kids took advantage of the Creative Workshops that were offered throughout our stay and loved leaning more about Legos.
Our day in the park was so much fun! We explored all of the seven different lands and each of the activities they offer. The kids and I hopped on and off of bunch of fun rides to fit the theme of the lands. They were able to earn their ‘drivers license’ in Lego City and grab the cutest souvenir. Then we hand picked some of our favorite Lego styles and new kits to bring home from the shops. It was such a fun day that we couldn’t have planned better!
