life isn’t perfect, but your hair can be

The relationship you have with your hair stylist is an important one. You must have patience, faith, and trust in them. Let’s face it, they are in control of a major part of you. One of the first things that someone notices when they first meet you or without ever meeting you.

Do you really want to have someone you don’t trust under that much pressure? Nope.

When I came across Coco Leigh Hair Boutique, I knew we were going to be a match made in heaven. Quaint, welcoming, feminine but in a subtle way. It was an instant connection.

That was before I even met the my stylist, owner Nicole.

She was equally as welcoming as her shop is. Friendly, inviting, and accommodating (especially with my three year old that I thought I’d bring along). Her staff was no different. As soon as we walked in everyone greeted us, asked my daughter her name, and wanted to get her anything they could to make her and I comfortable.

After going over what my vision was, I let Nicole make a few of the final decisions because I trusted that she knew what she was doing. I was right. With a technique she referred to as foil-age, she began to add some lighter colors into my natural base. The hope was that it would brighten my hair up without being too drastic of a change.

During my time there, I was comfortable and always being asked if I needed anything. Nicole (and her adorable mom) were so easy to talk to and made the time pass rather quickly. The before and after may be mild to some, but when it’s your head of hair.. it is truly a transformation!

Thank you to Nicole and the Coco Leigh Hair Boutique staff. I am so delighted with my hair, the experience I had there, and look forward to plenty more future appointments. Truly one of Harford County’s gems.
