road trip survival kits for kids

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. I take pride in hand selecting the brands that I work with and represent. All opinions expressed below are 100% mine.

It is no secret that road trips can be difficult to sit through, especially for small kids. Having to be still for a long time, with only so much that you can do, with limited resources to stay busy. That is why I put together road trip survival kits for my kids to have fun with during our next trip to the beach. The kits will include snacks, busy activities, and snuggly friends. They will then have independent things to do to self entertain throughout our two hour drive.

Using Cricut Design Space I decided to create a design for the tote bags I’m using. After some brainstorming I created a word bubble with the most commonly asked question during a trip – “are we there yet?!”. I cut two mirrored designs with my Cricut Explore Air in purple and blue out of Everyday Iron On vinyl. Then ironed them onto the blank tote bag (available on their website) with my Cricut EasyPress™ 2.

I filled the survival kits up with their favorite goodies and can’t wait to see their faces. These are going to be such a great way to keep the kids busy during their road trips. Using my Cricut was the best way to personalize them and ensure that they won’t be arguing over the same thing at all. Whether you decide to use canvas totes, snack boxes, storage caddies, or something entirely different – I recommend putting these together for your kids next road trip! Maybe even create one for yourself.

I would love to see what you create with your Cricut too, so be sure to share your projects with me!
