Lily turns 3 under the sea!

A special thank you to the shops below that provided us with the products below to put together Lily’s birthday party. All the reviews and opinions expressed in this post are based on my personal view.

Yesterday we celebrated our baby girl Lily turning three! I can’t believe it – our littlest little is turning into such a young lady. It was such a fun day filled with family and friends!

For her birthday she requested a mermaid party! I was so excited because this particular theme looked like so much fun. With so many coordinating color options out there no two mermaid parties are alike. We went with pink, purple, and teal.

Re-play Recycled provided me with a set of tableware that perfectly coordinated with theme color scheme. This amazing company makes children’s tableware from recycled food safe plastic. We’re so proud to say that our order saved 54 milk jugs from heading to the landfill!

Each little guest received a gift bag at their seat. The goodies inside included a Re-Play Recycled snack stack to hold the piñata snacks, bubble wand, mermaid tattoos + sticks, a bath bomb, and pearl necklace. It was just enough to make them feel special but not too much that the parents would hate me afterwards.

Paper Trail by Laura B. sent me these sweet gift tags to hang on each of their bags. They were the perfect touch to finish them off. Laura was also kind of enough to send this matching ‘happy birthday’ banner and adorable cupcake toppers which we used for serving finger food.

I partnered with Coterie to customize a set of tableware for the adults. With the option to pick and choose your package, you can create a set that matches ANY event! Choosing a mix of ‘Shine On’ and ‘Yes Way, Ombre’ I was able to put together this collection of beautiful golds and purple + blue ombre which was the best of all the decor put together.

For the dessert table, One Stop Back Drop sent this STUNNING vinyl mermaid scale back drop. Honestly it was nearly impossible to select one because they have so many color combinations to choose from. It’s durable, easy to hang, and added just the right amount of party theme to our table.

A quaint local bakery, Flavor Cupcakery, with a rockstar team of decorators supplied us with a birthday cake and cookies. I barely have the words to describe this cake because it was absolutely stunning. All the right colors to match our theme, perfect mermaid details, and an all over shimmer + shine that you had to see to believe. Each of the cookies were perfectly iced and decorated in the shapes of mermaid tails, seashells, and stars. If you’re local to Bel Air, you must must must head there!

The beautiful table banner, ‘under the sea’ balloons, and mermaid tail cupcake toppers came from another great party shop. Couronne Parties was so kind and easy to work with. They had a ton of great decorations to choose from for any party theme you could think of.

All of our colorful party balloons were supplied by Joyeux Party which helped to create the balloon garland over the dessert table. We also used them to mark the birthday girl’s chair and gave them out to each little that insisted on having one.

To add to the fun of the party we received confetti poppers from Enfete which the kids loved! We also got mermaid scale cupcake toppers, table confetti, the adorable mermaid napkins we put on the kids table, and bubble balloons which we scattered throughout the house.

The birthday girl received an extra special outfit from Grace + Lucille for her big day. Not only was it perfectly matched to our color scheme (purple and teal) but it included a seashell around the word ‘three’. This beautiful dress came with the most adorable tulle tutu skirt to make any little girl feel like a princess.

Aside from the companies that I partnered with much of the decor came from pieces around the house, Dollar Tree, Party City, and Target Dollar Spot. Much of the party was crafted and created by me, so if there is a particular part you have questions about, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.

Our menu was created with as many ‘themed’ foods as I could find:
octodogs – hot dogs
fish scales – plain chips
ocean waves – wavy chips
coral reef – vegetable tray
driftwood – pretzel sticks
goldfish
seashell salad – pasta salad
shells + cheese – mac + cheese
seaweed – guac, salsa, and queso

I am beyond grateful to every one of these special shops that helped put her amazing party together! You have no idea how much you impacted our sweet girl’s day. Thank you again!
