gift guide for little fishermen

Now that the gone fishin’ party has been had! Time to talk birthday gifts. Every year I use the birthday theme to plan the gifts around. There’s a basic combination of things – pajamas, books, activities, water bottles, etc. that tend to fill the basket. Let’s get reel specific on this gift guide for little fishermen.

With Cam’s LEGO party last year, I built a gift basket filled with all LEGO theme goodies. Similar to this year it held a Nintendo Switch game, activity book, LEGOs, and more. The kids have always gifted their friends things that go along with their party theme – unicorns, Encanto, wrestling, Minecraft, and more. It’s really a good way to ensure that the birthday boy/girl will get a gift they love. Then if you know that the kid plays video games, likes crafts, loves to read, etc. you can find something that fits their theme and interests. Often you can find a gift card or tickets to local places that work with the theme too. In my case it’s a gift guide for little fishermen.

Putting together a gift basket for Cam based solely around his love for fishing was a lot of fun for me. I knew that every bit of this would be used and loved hard. The basics usually include pajamas, video games, water bottles/tumblers, and activities. I have linked all of the fisherman gifts below!

Hopefully this gift guide for little fishermen will help you with your own little fisherman in your life!
